YOUR ABUNDANCE JOURNEY BEGINS ON SUNDAYS

Consciousness Is A Daily Practice- Unapologetic Manifestation
One of the greatest misconceptions about spiritual growth is that transformation happens in a single breakthrough. We imagine one profound meditation, one inspiring workshop, one life-changing insight, or one powerful prayer will permanently change us.

Occasionally those moments do happen. But in my experience, lasting transformation is almost always quieter than that.

Before I became a minister, I spent years as a professional dancer on Broadway. People would watch a performance and see the ease, the confidence, and the artistry. What they never saw were the thousands of hours spent in the rehearsal studio. Day after day we returned to the barre, repeated the same exercises, practiced the same combinations, and refined the smallest details. Excellence wasn’t created during the performance. It was cultivated through daily practice.

Consciousness grows the same way.

In Unapologetic Manifestation, I describe four ways of moving through life: Victim, Victor, Vessel, and Verity. One of the biggest surprises for many readers is learning that these are not permanent identities. They are states of consciousness. We don’t graduate from one and leave it behind forever. We move among them throughout our lives.

There are still days when I catch myself slipping into victim consciousness, blaming circumstances or wishing life were different. There are days when I become intensely focused on achieving, fixing, and making things happen from Victor consciousness. There are beautiful moments when I feel like a Vessel, allowing life to flow through me with less effort and greater trust. And every now and then, I experience those precious moments of Verity, when I remember that I have never been separate from God, from love, or from the field of infinite possibility.

The practice is not to stay in Verity every moment of every day.

The practice is to recognize where we are with compassion and gently choose again.
That is why shifting consciousness is a daily practice of awareness, honesty, forgiveness, and intentional living. Some days we feel expansive, grounded, connected, and deeply aligned. Other days old fears, resentments, insecurities, and familiar habits seem to reappear as though nothing has changed.

That doesn’t mean we are failing.
It means we are human.

Growth is rarely linear. We don’t move from fear to freedom in a straight line. We spiral. We revisit old lessons from a new level of awareness. The very fact that we notice an old pattern is evidence that something has already changed. The moment we recognize our fear instead of becoming consumed by it, we are no longer completely unconscious inside it.

That is why I encourage people to measure progress differently. Instead of asking, “Have I arrived?” ask, “Am I becoming more aware?” Awareness is the doorway through which every other transformation enters.

Every time we pause before reacting, forgive instead of hardening, question an old belief instead of automatically believing it, or choose possibility instead of fear, we strengthen a new way of being. Like a dancer returning to the studio, we are rehearsing the person we are becoming.

Transformation is not built in extraordinary moments. It is built through ordinary moments repeated with extraordinary intention. Be patient with yourself. Celebrate the small victories. Trust the practice. Every day offers another opportunity to move from fear toward freedom, from separation toward connection, and from unconscious reaction toward intentional living.
After all, the life you are creating is not the result of one perfect day.

It is the expression of the consciousness you choose to practice every day.

PRACTICE FOR THE WEEK: The Conscious Pause

Three times a day, stop for one full breath and ask:

What state of consciousness am I operating from right now?
Victim? Victor? Vessel? Verity?

Simply noticing creates choice.

Quote of the week (from Unapologetic Manifestation)

“The moment you stop rehearsing limitation, possibility begins expanding.”
